Billy was in high school when his parents purchased the funeral home; he worked side by side with his dad and soon realized he shared the family desire to be in the funeral business. He attended Gupton-Jones College in Atlanta, GA and graduated in 1980 with a degree in mortuary science. Billy worked an apprenticeship with his dad until 1982 when he became a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Along with his parents Billy shared the responsibilities of the family business. Billy married his high school sweetheart Janice Sanders in 1979 and they have three children Kristen, Brett and Emily. Billy is carrying on the tradition at Folk Funeral Home that his Granddaddy Cecil, Mama and Daddy taught him.

Letitia was nineteen years old when her parents purchased the funeral home. She attended Winthrop College and USC-Aiken. In 1982, married William T. “Bo” Stillinger, Jr. and they have two sons Thurston and Spencer. Shortly after her children were born, Letitia joined her family at the funeral home. She is carrying on the family tradition at Folk Funeral Home; always smiling and has a song in her heart when welcoming folks at the funeral home. Unlicensed Employee

Brett was born into the family business; he started helping his dad and granddad around the funeral home when he was very young. By the time he was 15 years old he knew he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his great granddad, granddad and dad, so he attended Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro, GA shortly after high-school graduation and earned a degree in Funeral Service Education in 2004. He married Katie Rogers and they have a son, Landon and two daughters, Riley and Isla. Since graduation, Brett has worked at the funeral home with his dad and aunt and is carrying on the family tradition of providing professional funeral service to everyone who is in need. Dana graduated from USC-A in 1983 with a degree in Early Childhood Education, she married Dirk Byrd in 1985 and they have two children, Dane and Kathryn. Dana joined the Folk Funeral Home staff in March of 2006. Unlicensed Employee

Jerry attended North Greenville Jr. College, in 1970 he married Annette Hardison and they have two children, Terri and Kinley. Jerry retired from Westinghouse, Savannah River Site in 2005 and shortly after retiring he joined the Folk Funeral Home staff. Unlicensed Employee
