Deborah Dyches Potts, 61, passed away Tuesday, May 9th, 2017, at her home in Barnwell, SC.

Debbie was born in Barnwell, SC on March 29th, 1956. She was the daughter of the late Gene Dyches and Margie Tuten. Debbie was a 1974 graduate of Barnwell High School. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She enjoyed working with children, reading, and shopping with her daughter. She was always looking for a way to make a positive impact in other’s lives, and always gave what she could to help others. She was a devout Christian woman, and avid member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

She is survived by; her daughter, Meagan (James) Chavis of Moncks Corner, her brother Mike (Roz) Dyches of Barnwell, her sister Jeanie (Bob) White of Barnwell, SC, her grandchildren, Jayden Chavis, Eli Chavis, and Riley Chavis, a niece, Kearsten Hudson, a nephew Jimmie Owens, and a host of Aunts and Uncles. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberley Lynn Potts, and a nephew Sean Michael Dyches.

A memorial service will be held at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel in Williston, SC at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20th, 2017.
