Obituary
Funeral services for Robert Love, 80, of Blackville, SC will be held two o’clock p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC; burial will be in the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from twelve-thirty p.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Robert passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018.
Born in Orangeburg County, SC, he was a son of the late Shellie Love and Pearl Knight Love. Robert was a member of Healing Springs Baptist Church. He was a self-employed beef cattle farmer who loved his animals. Robert was a loving husband and father.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years Edna M. Bell Love of the home; daughters Rita (Neal) Morris of Snelling, Marie Brickle (Jimmy Owens) of Orangeburg; sons Terry (Becky) Love of Blackville, Roger (Denise) Love of Barnwell, Kevin Love of Monetta, SC; sisters Shirley Martin of Lexington, Carolyn (Bill) Frye of Barnwell; brothers Billy (Bonnie) Love of Denmark, Jackie (Juanita) Love of Atlanta, GA; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Robert Love, Jr. and brothers Charles, Wilbur and Lennon Love.

I’m so sorry that my uncle passed he tried to be a father when I was growing up his mother pearl love took me and my sister Roland’s kinsey when my dad drown when I was three I know I was a bad child growing up but nobody knew the hurt my sister and I was suffering to watch a tragedy happen with there parents trying to kill one another and the guit that I took and for my fathers death that was the day my mom said to me find my watch I found a watch but it was not hers my dad died that day my uncle Robert tried to help me get over this but I would not let anyone in my heart cause I felt no one understude but deep in my heart I know he did I can’t take the past back but I carry memories for ever Robert love thank u for every thing may u Rest In Peace
