Aunt Kat was a special lady, she was there for us when my Mom, Dot ( her sister) , went through cancer and Aunt Kat always made me laugh . I have great memories of going to visit them and playing with Robert and Al as a child. I always looked forward to spending time with them. She was a no nonsense kind of lady but also compassionate and had a contagious smile. If she was your friend, she would be there for you through thick and thin. I loved her very much and wish I could have spent more time with her.

Words cannot express what Mrs. Kathleen meant to me and my family! She patiently put up with three rambunctious girls and I hope she enjoyed every minute of it - we sure did! She lovinlgy taught me the how-to’s of mascara when I was about 5. She was a great asset to the town of Springfield as mayora and everyone that knew her loved her. She was a great woman and will be greatly missed! Sending prayers out to Robet and Al and their families. Love, Dina Crim Koopman and family.
