Donna was a sweetheart. I first met Donna when she was at my bridal shower held at her grandmother, Gussie Widener's in the Spring of 1969. Donna would have been about six years old and seemed to fall in love with me, she wrapped her arms around my legs and held on tight. Donna and my husband Jimmy Widener are second cousins. Less than three weeks ago Jimmy and I met George and Donna at the Variety Restaurant for lunch. George is a super guy and kept reminding Donna she needed to drink more water, not sweet tea. He seemed very dedicated to taking care of her. Jimmy and I were both very shocked and saddened to hear she is no longer with us. Our sincere love and devotion to George, Maggie, and Donna's sweet grandchildren Aimslee and Tyler. Donna will always have a special place in our hearts, as will her family. God bless and comfort all.
