Mack played with me as a child at Uncle Wil's house. He pulled me on a wooden wagon and made sure I stayed away from the sows with piglets. Everyone always said he looked like my father, John Thompson. Such a quiet, good man. Brenda Thompson Allen (803) 300-1411

Margaret and family I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mack. We were classmates and graduated together. I have some great memories of our times together during those years. One that comes to mind is what was known as The Colston 500. As you are aware there there was not a lot of entertainment on Colston. Mack's daddy Mr. Will had a black 57 Ford and sometimes on the weekend four or five of us would meet up to ride around with Mack. We would disconnect the muffler on the car and ride through Colston making a big racket and leaving dust trails. We all got a big kick out doing this. The last time I saw Mack was at our fiftieth class reunion, I really enjoyed seeing and talking with him. We had a big laugh talking about The Colston 500. I will be praying for and thinking of you and your family during this time of grief.

We are thinking of and praying for you all during this unbearable time. As the song says, turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face and the things of this world will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace. We love you and hurt, both for you, and with you.
